Dia Mirza, United Nations Environment Goodwill Ambassador for India & United Nations Secretary-General Advocate for Sustainable Development Goals, said, “I welcome, everyone, to this ‘Concert of Change,’ where we come together to commit and pledge for a cleaner and greener Mumbai. Our journey towards sustainable goals demands collective effort. Throughout nine days of continuous and supreme enjoyment, we celebrated with care, consciousness, and a firm dedication to sustainability. Sustainability lies at the heart of the Mumbai Festival, evident through initiatives like the Start-Up Mumbai Challenge – Forever Planet, Beach Cleanup, Earth Movie Contest, Tourism Conclave, and more. The dedicated teams, including the Directorate of Tourism, Govt of Maharashtra, and Wizcraft International Pvt Ltd, have worked tirelessly to propagate this crucial message. If you observe closely, every heartbeat of Mumbai Festival pulsates with sustainability and inclusivity.”

Beyond the enchanting music, the event served as a platform to connect with inspiring causes and initiatives. Attendees were not just listeners; they became empowered actively participating in building a better tomorrow.

In its grand conclusion, the Concert for Change stood as a powerful statement of unity and hope for Mumbai’s future. As we bid adieu to this unique event, an unprecedented celebration of ‘Amchi Mumbai’ also known as the ‘Sapno Ka Gateway’ leaves behind a lasting legacy of cultural marvels that will resonate in our hearts for years to come.
